Anne Rose is bubbly and active. She enjoys doing art projects, painting her nails, and shopping for clothes. Some of her favorite activities include: gardening, riding her bike, swimming, ice-skating, and hanging out with peers in a group. Anne Rose likes attending Christian church services where there is lively singing and dancing. She has also developed a love for anything horses, including riding. Anne Rose is up for taking on new challenges, and trying unusual foods is no exception. She sampled the Alaskan “backwoods hotdog”—a hotdog with peanut butter, pickles, and mustard—and she liked it!
Anne Rose takes pride in cooking some meals for herself, doing her own laundry, and helping out with family chores. She hopes she can be hairdresser when she grows up. She also feels comfortable with military culture, having connected with positive people on base and having some family members in the military.
Anne Rose enjoys spending time with other teens, and it’s her favorite thing about school. She responds best to friendly, kind, soft spoken adults that are able to be clear, consistent and predictable. When asked what her hopes and dreams are, Anne Rose is sure: “I want to be adopted and have a real family. I don’t want to be in the system when I’m 20!”
Anne Rose needs a mom who has the patience and desire to provide structure, routine, and encouragement for her into adulthood. Anne Rose is ready to meet her forever family and is hopeful for her future!
