Likeable and social, with a great sense of humor, Eli loves to talk with others and meet new people. He enjoys watching TV, going to the park, and celebrating holidays, especially Halloween. Eli thinks camping, swimming and sports (soccer!) are fun, but he doesn’t like hiking. Harry Potter, Power Rangers, and dinosaurs are some of his favorite things.
Eli is a sharp and innovative student who loves puzzles, riddles, and out-of-the-box challenges. He’s good at math and says it is his favorite subject; writing is his least favorite because he “doesn’t like writing things that people tell [him] to.” Besides math, the best thing about school is getting to spend time with friends at lunch and break times. He eventually wants to study dinosaur bones and understands this means he will need “to stay in school for a very long time.”
Eli says his ideal family would be a two-parent household with siblings who all enjoy doing things together, like sports and movie nights. He would prefer both parents to not work late so they can be home for dinner. He hopes for parents who will hug him, snuggle with him on the couch watching television, tuck him into bed at night, and tell him they love him every day. Eli recognizes that he can make mistakes sometimes and wants a family who is patient and will help him when he needs it. Pets would be good, too, like birds, dogs, and cats. Eli needs a family who will keep him in touch with siblings and other people important to him.
