Story Profile

Jorden

Jorden is exceedingly creative and happy, expressing his joy through singing and making up words. He can often be found building with Legos, creating art with origami, drawing, or playing nerf guns. Harry Potter and Jurassic Park are his favorite movies, and he also enjoys playing video games or finding adventure outdoors.

Jorden has formed many positive relationships with the adults in his school, who describe him as “very smart, friendly and social”. He takes pride in being the teacher’s helper. He is open to learning, loves stories and enjoys math, art and gym class the most. His least favorite subjects are reading, music and science.  However, as he excels in spatial awareness and physical play, Jorden would much rather expound his energy outside of school walls.

Physical activity and maintaining overall wellness are becoming more important to him so having a family who embodies this as well would be ideal. To continue to thrive in his schooling, Jorden’s family will need to be educationally flexible and able to help him explore education with curiosity and patience.

Family is a priority for Jorden.  He hopes to be part of an active, two-parent household with a mom and dad, who live near his siblings and has pets. His foremost desire is a family who will be able to support and encourage him to maintain a relationship with his siblings. He will do well in a calm, structured, environment and would benefit from an older sibling role model. He would prefer to be the youngest child in the home and values alone time so he can focus on self-care through his creative hobbies and interests.

Landen

From Lego’s to hunting, to hanging with his peers and reading, Landen’s favorite activities are as widely varied and unique as he is.

Although Landen dreams of becoming a YouTuber one day, he is also interested in pursuing skilled work as a mechanic, or even a career in the military.

Currently in the 9th grade, Landen’s academic strengths are History, Science and P.E. Math can be a struggle for Landen, but he recognizes that in order to be successful in this area, he could use assistance from a strong male role model who could make education fun and exciting.

Siblings his own age or older would be a good fit for Landen and having a “big dog” as a companion in the home would be a wonderful gift.

Landen is very close to his younger siblings, one of them being Jorden. He states, "I will move heaven and earth for my little goblins (siblings)." Regular contact with his other siblings will need to be maintained and supported. Landen will need his own bedroom and will thrive in a household with a stay-at-home parent, “because I want a real family."

Both brothers desire a family with a mom and dad, who can support contact with their siblings. Landen & Jorden's team look forward to hearing from two-parent families who can provide the structure and nurturing attention they both deserve.
