Alyssa would like families to know that she is imaginative and expansively creative; she is an artist who can enjoy herself in any medium, from drawing to dance. She is passionate about the things that interest her, not only the arts, but science and nature, too. Alyssa loves to have dance parties and butterflies are her favorite! Her current favorite book is "The School for Good and Evil". In her free time, Alyssa enjoys doing her makeup and collecting toys. Her favorite class at school is gym and her favorite activities include team handball, basketball, and netball.

When asked about her future, Alyssa shares that she hopes to become an entomologist or a doctor and would love to be a millionaire! She dreams of having a mom and a dad one day and is confident that there is a family and a place for her. Most of all, Alyssa is hoping for a family that is kind and compassionate.

Alyssa’s Alaska Native heritage is very important to her, and she is interested in learning more about it. She is a Christian as well, and her faith plays a big part in her life. Alyssa will need a family that can help her stay connected to her roots as well as build new positive relationships.

Alyssa’s team is looking forward to hearing from families, in and out of state, who can give her the attention and encouragement she needs. She will thrive with gentle, engaged parents who can balance structure and nurture, and help her connect with others.
