Story Profile

Terry would like a “nice, loving and caring family" and he wants that family to know that he is a "nice and loving kid.”

This active young man currently spends his free time engaged in Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokeman, Minecraft, and strength-building at the gym. However, Terry also looks forward to expanding his creative side through music, (playing the trombone or electric guitar).

While math and music are Terry’s favorite subjects, a patient family that can provide the academic supports he needs to thrive and stay on task at school would suit him best. Although he can shut down when overwhelmed by a challenge, Terry has made great strides learning to take a break, return, and complete the work required.

With hopes of helping others, Terry can see himself working as a police officer or dermatologist one day.

When asked whom he most admires, Terry shared that his favorite rapper, members of his (OCS) team and a friend at school are at the top of the list.

And when asked what things he might hope to have in a family, Terry shared that he would like a family who is “openhearted and will support him”, that lives in a neighborhood where he will have the opportunity to make friends.

Terry will thrive in an active family that enjoys a fun afternoon at the park or arcade. He would like both a mom and a dad and would do well with older siblings who can act as strong role models. Terry would do best in a home where he can have his own room.

Although he does not currently have contact with his siblings, Terry hopes to one day build and maintain a relationship and desires an adoptive family that will support and encourage those important bonds.

Terry’s team looks forward to hearing from families who can provide the patience and structure he deserves to be successful.
