Story Profile

William is a sharp young man who loves anything "minions" related. William's most favorite activity is going for an outdoor stroll, whether in the park or just around the neighborhood. When he's not watching a minion’s movie or cruising around outside, William enjoys time on the swing. He also appreciates his alone time every now and then; he will indicate when it's time to turn down the lights and have a few minutes to himself. This sweet boy often appreciates being rocked before bed.

William has great supports at his school, and he is working very hard on communication methods and assisted walking both in school and at home. One of his goals for the future is to become more independent in mobility and managing his toileting needs.

William is looking for a family who has abundant time, creative problem-solving skills, the ability to advocate for his needs, and lots of patience to help him thrive. Other kids and animals don't bother him unless they are too noisy; it is important to note that he would likely benefit from equine therapy. William would benefit from a family who can invest time into making cultural connections accessible to him as well as encouraging the connection with his siblings.

William is a smart boy with a bright future ahead. His team is looking forward to hearing from families, in and out of state, who will think outside the box and invest the necessary time into tailoring his goals to his unique strengths.
